Reflexology Tales

What a week! My office was closed because of the Corona Caution. I have heard terrible rumors, uplifting sermons and tons of news, I certainly have nothing to add. Would it be ok to just share a few reflexology tales? I’ve been a reflexologist over 30 years so I have a few (By the way Tigger, my cat, is helping. He has currently turned on the printer.)

Let’s start with my stories. Years ago, I had a kidney stone with miserable pain. I was working as a medical assistant. The doctor sent me home with pain meds. As soon as I got home, I took the medicine, pulled off my shoes and socks and began doing reflexology on my feet. I drank a lot of water as well. I mainly worked the reflexes for my kidney and bladder, but especially my ureter tubes. That is where the stones gets stuck. I found a very tender spot in that area. I worked the reflexes every 15 minutes between drinking water and going to the bathroom. The next time I did my foot, the spot was no longer tender. When I went to the bathroom, I PASSED the stone! Amazing! My foot told the story and I believe the reflexology helped. It reinforced my already strong belief in reflexology.

Everyday, I do the reflexes to my sinuses, brain and adrenals. The toes are the sinus reflexes and they are often quite tender. I have allergies. My brain needs all the help it can get. The adrenals are greatly affected by stress. Tender toes is how I got into reflexology, but that is another story for another blog.

Please, take care. I so miss my clients!! Rub your feet until we get back together….and we will.
